Vikings (35) vs. Dragons (3)

The Augustana Vikings dominated the MSU Moorhead Dragons 35 to 3 on Saturday at Kirkeby-Over Stadium.  Outstanding performances by Dajon Newell with a 168 yards on the ground and 2 TDs, and Grant Gebhardt with 87 yards in the air and 2 TDs!  QB Josh Hanson threw 11-18 for 153 yards and 3 TDs.  Ross Peterson led all tacklers with 9... Austin Leucke was right behind him with 6.  The Vikings defense combined for a total of 10 Tackles for Loss.  Jr. DB Keith Newman had one INT with a 21 yard return.  The Vikings have a short week, traveling to Mankato to take division rival, MSU Mankato on Thursday night.  The game will be televised nationally on the CBS Sports Network.  Click the photo below for more game photos!
